How can you keep your pet turtle healthy, reduce the need to visit the Vet , and save money on turtle food?
Turtle is not an easy animal to look after,His water getting dirty very quickly and he did not seem happy at all.
It needs , Lightning, Heating, Water Level, Diet and you name it.
Some advices: You don't need to buy specialist turtle food , too much . this is bad for your turtle and there are much cheaper alternatives. You should learn that you don't need to go to the Vet everytime. Your tuetle becomes ill. There are cheap tratments and even home remedies , you can use instead.
So , with right environment for your turtle , your turtle will become healthy . In fact, when you have the right knowledge turtles are an easy pet to care for and what's more they are very rewarding and cheap to keep. Never forget that
" pervention is better than cure".

My own experience

The First Experience with turtles is for one of the team( gamala.asi25) . Another amature who interests in taking care of turtles tells us  about his new experience . He says " whenI started researching for turtle I also started writing down the things I learned  to take care of my turtle which I bought since 2000".As I have little experience in bringing up turtle I begin to search for lots of information either by reading or log in the net. Finally I wrote the good staff of information that improve my turtle without costing me a for tune .
  After ten years of research I ended up with three big folders full of notes ,print outs and pages from books , magazines and newspapers Thats are portfolio  about turtles. I have used this information to increace my knowledge and improve my turtle life.Whether it is by improving  his invernoments or diet or learning Vital turtle first aid skills that ensure I can save his life when an illness or accidents strikes.
I have everything I need in these folders. So you should compile all the information, knowledge and facts about turtle guide. This big turtle guide is better than single guide because it includes a combination of everything I have read.

Some Definitions

Turtles are one of the oldest animals on our planet with traces back to the time of the dinosours . Turtles belongs to the order Testudines. Most turtles have hard shels , created from their ribes that acts as sort of body armour. There are salt turtles and fresh water turtles.

Basking  / when a turtle lies in the sun or artificial light to warm up
Brumation   / another term used to describe hibernation
habitat / The area  where the turtle occure naturally

Easier: Turtles are reptiles whose soft body is covered by hard shell. Most turtles can pull their legs , tail and head into the shell for protection.
different turtles lives on land, in water or both on land and in water. Some turtles which live on land are called tortoise. A Terrapian is a turtle that lives in or near fresh water or partly salty, coastal water. The name Terrapin is only used for a group of North American turtles.
Turtles can be grouped into seven types;
  1.  Mud and musk turtle
  2. Pond and marsh turtle
  3. Sea turtles
  4. Side necked turtles
  5. Snapping turtles
  6. Soft shelted turtles
  7. Tortoise
Like other reptiles, all turtles are cold-blooded; their bodies temperature about matches the temperature of their envirnoments. They are found living in deserts, forests , grasslands, lakes, marshes, ponds, wet lands, coastal areas and in the oceans.
